Marshall Edward Webster Jr., affectionately known as "Junior", was born on November 30, 1941, in Barre, Vermont to Marshall and Marion Webster. He joined his Heavenly Father on February 25, 2024, surrounded by his beloved family at the age of 82.
Marshall grew up in Barre, Vermont where he met the love of his life, Louise Verdon. The couple married in June of 1965 and moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 1974 where they made a beautiful life and raised their three children.
Marshall was a proud veteran who served in the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. His military service was a significant part of his life, and he carried the values he learned during his time in the Navy throughout his lifetime.
Marshall had a successful career in the oil industry. He began his career in 1975 with Otis Engineering in Carrolton, TX then continued his work overseas in locations such as Hassi Messaoud, Egypt, and Dubai until his retirement in 2017. Marshall was a brilliant engineer who was highly respected in his field, mentoring and educating many of his peers. Marshall is also the originator of three U.S patents, using his ingenuity to solve complex problems. In leu of retirement, Marshall began his own successful business in 2017 working alongside his wife Louise, son Jason and often his granddaughter Taylor, that continues to thrive to this day, due to the commitment and effort Marshall dedicated to it's success.
Marshall was a devoted family man and a kind soul who never met a stranger. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife Louise, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Marshall had a passion for fishing, hunting, and working on the Webster Ranch. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends no matter how big or small the project.
Marshall was a devout Catholic and parishioner at St. John's Catholic Church in Bridgeport, TX where he enjoyed worshipping the lord with his wife Louise.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 58 years, Louise. His children, Eddie and wife Mendy, Rosie and husband Mark Meng, and Jason and wife Jamie. His grandchildren, Taylor Wedel and husband Jason, Ashlee, Jordan, Morgan Smith and husband Jacob, and Shelbie Mashburn and fiancé Jacob. As well as is great-grandchildren, Courtland, Parker, Greyson, Everlee, and Jaxton. He is also survived by his sisters, Diane and husband Ronald Holmes, Pamella and husband Fritz Rabler, Sherry and husband Mike Silva, and Rebecca and husband Tom Fontanetta, and his brother, Mark and wife Karen, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Marshall is preceded in death by his father Marshall Webster Sr., mother Marion Webster, and sisters Paula and Rosie.
Pallbearers include his sons Eddie and Jason Webster, brother Mark Webster, son-in-law Mark Meng, brother-in-law Tom Fontanetta, grandson's-in-law Jacob Smith and Jacob Mathis, family friend Ronnie Burton.
