Margie Irene Forguson, 96, of Madill, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Brookside Nursing Center in Madill. She was born on August 4, 1929, in Willis, Oklahoma, to the late Oliver Willis Gray and Lela E. Cryer Gray. Margie was raised in Willis and later made her home in Russett, where she lived most of her life. On January 9, 1945, she married C. B. Forguson in Marietta, Oklahoma. They shared 43 years together until his passing on June 28, 1988. Margie worked for several years at the Madill Pants Factory. She was a woman of faith, affiliated with the Jehovah's Witness congregation in Madill. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and hosting family gatherings.
She is survived by
Children: Linda Bryant and husband Johnny of Ardmore, Oklahoma
Sharon Draper and husband Arnold of Russett, Oklahoma
Daughter-in-law: Melva Forguson of Russett, Oklahoma
Grandchildren: Don Forguson, Jonna V. Culp, Carla Newson and husband Andrew, Sonya Klein,
Tonya Parker and husband Shawn, Jason Draper, Steven Hedden, and Georgiana Bustos and husband Paul.
Great-grandchildren: Dustin Smith, Areil Ford, Jeffery Culp, Alaina Allen, Hunter Forguson, Chloe Forguson, Chase Forguson, Dylan Murray, Adam Kuykendall Jr., Christian Kuykendall and Amira Newson.
Great-great-grandchildren: Juniper Smith, Aubrey Sue Smith, Rose Southerland, Areil Taylor,
Bentley Culp, Brooklyn Culp, and Parker Allen.
Siblings: Donald Gray and Ernest Gray, along with sisters Geneva Rigney and Betty Green.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, C. B. Forguson; her son, Jimmie Forguson; her daughter, Patsy Hedden; grandsons Dwain Klein and Tyler Bryant; her sister Leoma McClung; and brothers Carl Gray, Ollie Gray, Tommy Gray, Dan Gray, and Charles Gray.
