Lonnie Earl Reynolds was born on March 6, 1953, in Dallas, TX to Hinton and Melba Naomi (Reeves) Reynolds. He passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, OK at the age of 72.
Lonnie graduated high school and joined the United States Army shortly after. His time served sent him to Germany and eventually back stateside, where he found himself at Ft. Hood. It was there that he retired from the Army after 20 years of service.
Lonnie's military career led him to his next chapter of life, a life in the security world. It was here that his path crossed with legendary actor Chuck Norris. Lonnie worked security on the set of "Walker, Texas Ranger" during its prime on network television. He also enjoyed fishing when he had the time to go.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Vickie; sisters, Carla Parsons and Genevia Gary; and a brother-in-law, Donnie Morrow.
Those left to carry on Lonnie's legacy are his children, Eric Reynolds of Stephenville, MD, and Carmen Reynolds of CA; grandchildren, Tyler Reynolds, Layla Reynolds, Ben Reynolds, Kourtney Reynolds and Aryana Ochs; one great granddaughter; sister, Sherry Morrow of Callisburg, TX; brother-in-law, Lee "Dusty" Parsons of Canton, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services with military honors for Lonnie will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel. The burial of Lonnie's cremains will take place at a later date in Indiana. Services are under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Marietta.
