Lois May Nelms 87, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.  She was born on July 21, 1929 in Troy, Oklahoma to the late Oscar Monroe Wheeler and Willie Mae Dear Wheeler.  Lois lived her entire life in the Johnston County area and she has lived the past year in Tishomingo.  She married John Raymond Nelms on March 3, 1947 in Gainesville, Texas and he preceded her in death on May 22, 2004. Lois was a member of the Mannsville First Baptist Church and she enjoyed gardening, sewing quilt tops and playing with her grand kids.
