After a long, wonderful life, God called Lloyd Raymond Lowery, 92, of Mansfield, Texas home on Thursday, December 1, 2022. He was born on January 1, 1930, in Greasy Bend, Oklahoma to the late Willie Rayford Lowery and Clellie Mae Loftis Lowery. Lloyd was raised in Greasy Bend and attended the Mannsville Schools. He gave his life to the Lord at the age of 27 and never stopped learning and sharing the love of God. Lloyd graduated from Bible Baptist Seminary, in Arlington Texas in May 1969. While serving and teaching Sunday School at Meyers Road Baptist church, in Grand Prairie, TX he met and fell in love with Mollie J. Watson. They married in November of 1975 and celebrated 47 wonderful years of marriage. Lloyd worked for General Motors and retired after 34 years of service. He was also part of the UAW Riding Team, where he enjoyed driving his team of horses in parades all over the state of Texas.
