Linda Kay Cast, 85, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at the Four Seasons Nursing Center in Durant, Oklahoma.  She was born on August 31, 1939, in Madill, Oklahoma to the late Lawrence Edward Ables and Marguerite W. Baker Ables.  Linda Kay was raised in Madill where she graduated from Madill High School in 1957.  She worked as a legal secretary for Lynn Ables for several years and Eric Jones until her retirement.  Linda Kay was active in her community serving on the Madill City Council from 1993 to 1996, served as Mayor of Madill from 1993 to 1995 and she also served as President for the National Sandbass Festival for several years.  Linda Kay was a member of the First Baptist Church in Madill, and she enjoyed putting together flower arrangements, cooking for her family and loved Christmas decorating.

Linda Kay was preceded in death by her parents, and brother; Lyn Ables.
