LeeAnne May was born on December 10, 1961, in Ardmore, OK to James Clarence "J.C.", Jr. and Rowena (Williams) Montgomery. She passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Medical City of McKinney in McKinney, TX, at the age of 62.

LeeAnne was a 1980 graduate of Turner High School, and married Randy C. May on June 6, 1981, in Eastman, OK.

After they married, they moved to Houston, TX and then to Lone Grove, OK, where Randy worked for his father-in-law in the cable television business. They later moved to Ada, OK, Durant, OK, Plano, TX, and eventually to Fairview, TX, all while Randy was working with cable television. During this time, the family was growing, and LeeAnne was busy raising their children. They had also become members of the Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church in Allen, TX. The past 14 years, LeeAnne has lived at Brookdale Assisted Living in Sherman, TX. Her hobbies there included playing bingo and attending Bible study. She loved her friends and the staff there so much.

In 2003, devastation hit the May household. A motorcycle accident left both Randy and LeeAnne in poor physical condition. Randy later succumbed to his injuries on September 9, 2003. LeeAnne's life was forever changed, and both of their families stepped in to help raise their three children.

Those left to carry on LeeAnne's legacy include her children, Malori Callahan and husband Patrick of Houston, TX, Natalie Yurrita and husband Santi of Abilene, TX, and Michael May of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Allie, Austin and Remy Callahan, and Annie and Lucy Yurrita; mother, Rowena Montgomery of Eastman; brother, Tim Montgomery and wife Donna of Santee, CA, and their four daughters, one son and their families; and sister, Angie Fisher and husband Chet of Melissa, TX, and their four sons and their families.

LeeAnne was preceded in death by her father, J.C. Montgomery, Jr.; husband, Randy May; grandson, Patrick Callahan; brother, J.D. Montgomery; and grandparents, Clarence and Evelyn Montgomery and Atlas and Fannie Williams.

Funeral services for LeeAnne will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 23, 2024, at the Eastman Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy May officiating. Interment will follow at the Rubottom Cemetery in Rubottom, OK. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, February 22, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home in Marietta.

Serving as casket bearers will be Michael May, Santi Yurrita, Patrick Callahan, Chet Fisher, Tim Montgomery, and Matthew Fisher.
