Carlton Lynn "Lee" Freeman, 60, of Marietta, OK was born September 6, 1948, in Sherman, TX, the son of Grover Cleveland and Betty Jean Trammell Freeman. He passed away Monday, June 1, 2009, in Mercy Memorial Health Center, Ardmore, OK. A resident of Love County for the past 23 years, Mr. Freeman had been an over-the-road truck driver for 22 years. He was a loving father who especially enjoyed being with his children and grandchildren. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and raising cockatiels. Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Robert Cleveland Freeman in 1968. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Carlton Freeman II and wife, Kenette of Sulphur, OK and Randy and Kim Freeman of Marietta; two daughters and son-in-law, Tammy A. and Jermaine Bennett of Dickson, OK and Roberta Freeman of Guthrie, OK; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Grover and Sue Freeman of Louisiana and James and Charman Freeman of Ardmore; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Wesley McDonald of Faye, OK, Ruby O'Neal of Lone Grove, OK, Dorothy and John Lindsey of Springer, OK and Shirley Freeman of Lone Grove; 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Serving as bearers will be nephews, John Lindsey, Jr., Joshua Lindsey, Brian Lindsey, James Freeman, Jr., Robert Freeman and Brandon Lee Freeman. Honorary bearers will be Ollen Farrell, Ollen Farrell, Jr., Jeremy Lee Freeman and Tony Dawson.
