Graveside services for Lawanna Jean Hall, 94, of Jimtown, OK, will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2021 at the Leon Cemetery, in Leon, OK, with Larry Hicks officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Marietta.

Lawanna was born October 27, 1926, in Leon, the daughter of Anna May (Whittington) and Harvey Husband. She passed away January 19, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Tishomingo, OK.

Lawanna grew up in Leon and graduated from Leon High School where she loved to play basketball. She continued to play even into her adult years. Lawanna married Kenneth McBride, had three sons, and they settled in Healdton, OK. There she learned to play golf.  Lawanna was active in helping Kenneth run his business until his death on August 3, 1971. She later married Johnny Hall and moved to Grand Prairie, TX where she worked for M Bank.  Upon their retirement, they moved back to Jimtown.  You could say her roots were deep in the soil of that area. Johnny preceded her in death on November 28, 2018. Lawanna had many interests, however spending time with her children and grandchildren was her favorite.

Survivors include two sons, Scott McBride and wife Jerilyn of Ardmore, OK and Gary McBride and wife Deanna of Edmond, OK; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and both husbands, she was also preceded in death by son, Kenny McBride.
