LaWanda Ruth Wheeler, 75 of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at the Marshall County Medical Center in Madill, Oklahoma. She was born in Powell, Oklahoma to the late Coy "Sock" Carroll and Rosia Pearl Snow Carroll on March 14, 1931. Wanda was raised in Powell and later moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she lived for 20 years. She has lived the past 25 years in Kingston. Wanda married Emmett Fay Wheeler on June 23, 1975 in Lebanon, Oklahoma. She preceded her in death on October 7, 1985. She enjoyed listening to music, watching tv and fishing. She is survived by: Son: Wendyl Kelley, Kingston, Oklahoma Gary Kelley, Mannford, Oklahoma Sisters: Barbara Snow, Kingston, Oklahoma Joyce McCarty, Tishomingo, Oklahoma Brother: Pete Carroll, Powell, Oklahoma 4 Grandchildren 9 Great Grandchildren 1 Great Great Grandchild Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son; Eddie Kelley and 1 sister; Mary Krum.
