Kenneth Laverne Green of Kingston, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at his home in Kingston. He was 80 years old.

Kenneth was born on December 20, 1944, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Henry Cleveland Green and Katherine Emmeline Gilkes. He grew up in Jacksonville, Arkansas, and throughout his life lived in several places, but Kingston was where he spent most of his years and made his home.

Kenneth worked as a builder for Jim Pencock Building, a trade he took pride in and one that reflected his strong work ethic and skill with his hands. Outside of work, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—loving horses, deer hunting, fishing, and spending time cutting wood. He found joy outdoors and valued a life of hard work and self-reliance. Kenneth was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Wayne Green; and his sister, Sue Green.

Kenneth is survived by his sons, Kenny Green, Jr. of Springer, Oklahoma, and Patrick Green of Kingston, Oklahoma; his daughters, Mickie Bondurant and husband Michael of Springer, Oklahoma, Lisa Tumbry of McKinney, Texas, and Kathy Flatman and husband Tim of Dyersburg, Tennessee; and his sister, Elaine Green McGuire of Jacksonville, Arkansas. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren: Jason Mills, Brian Sims, Melinda Rother, Jeffery Mills, Jeremiah Mills, Michelle Baker, Rebecca Grimes, Taylor Flatman, Noah Flatman, Emily Green, Shelby Odom, Kelly Green, and Haley Perez; along with 17 great-grandchildren.

Kenneth will be remembered for his love of family, his dedication to his work, and his appreciation for outdoors and country living. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
