Kate John Caldwell, 102, of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the King's Daughters and Sons Nursing Center in Durant.  She was born on March 31, 1922, in Durant to the late John Harvey Allen and Ida Barbara Miller Allen.  Kate was raised in Durant. She married Eugene Emerson Caldwell on April 3, 1943, in Durant and he preceded her in death on August 9, 1984.   She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Durant for over 70 years.  Kate enjoyed making cakes, crocheting, working crossword puzzles and she loved chocolate.
