June Loretta McCormick, 99, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, at the Alliance Hospital in Durant, Oklahoma.  She was born on June 10, 1923, in Ashland, Oklahoma to the late Mack Eden and Julia Ann Jones Eden.  She attended the Ashland school where she was a fine basketball player and where she later graduated high school.  June later moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where she lived many years working as a homemaker raising her 4 children.  In 1992 she moved to Kingston on Lake Texoma where she lived the rest of her life.  June married Nick McCormick and he preceded her in death on August 30, 2005.   She was very proud of her Choctaw heritage and was blessed to see the blood line passed to her children.  June attended the First Assembly of God Church and later Bethel Community Church where she enjoyed fellowships and singings.  She enjoyed working in the yard watering her flowers and she also enjoyed washing and folding her kid's laundry.

Numerous nieces and nephews.

June was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son; Mackey Ren Ely, siblings; Foy, Fred, Bessie, Helen, Idabel, and Luceil.
