Judith "Judy" Diane Vaughan, 70, of Gordonville, TX, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022, at Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital in Plano, TX. Her journey in life began in Great Bend, KS on December 19, 1951, the daughter of Donald Eugene and Marilyn Nadine (Burris) Mitchell.

Judy and her family relocated to Marietta, OK where she attended schools. She worked in many different areas for Weber Aircraft in Gainesville, TX. Her final position was a line supervisor. Judy married the love of her life Lloyd Wayne Vaughan on July 26, 1982 in Gainesville. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family and friends.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Lloyd Vaughan of the home; children, Lauri Johnson and husband Jeff of Gainesville, Sylvia Cheatham and husband Chuck of Oak Ridge, TX, Heather Rae Huckabaa and husband Stacey of Davis, OK, and Lloyd Vaughan, Jr. of Tioga, TX; sister, Janet Fish of Weslaco, TX; grandchildren, Taylor Wayne Conway, Alexis Paige Quintana, Scott Cheatham, Austin Cheatham, Shelby Cheatham, Stratton Studeman, Beauty Welch, Aspen Huckabaa, Kage Vaile, Brian Vaile, and Alyssa Williams; and six great-grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Marilyn Mitchell.

No services are scheduled at this time for Judy. Cremation has been entrusted to Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Marietta.
