Judy Carolyn Lilly, 83, of Kingston, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, April 13, 2026. She was born on December 23, 1942, in Littlefield, Texas, to Ernest Clifton Hammett and Lena Lee Powell Hammett.

Carolyn moved with her family to Hereford, Texas, in 1952, where she later graduated from Hereford High School in 1961. She went on to attend West Texas A&M University before earning her real estate license in 1977.

Known for her strong work ethic and genuine love for people, Carolyn devoted much of her life to helping others. She spent 10 years involved with Camp Fire, where she guided and mentored young people and made a lasting impact on many lives.

In 1982, Carolyn moved to Kingston, where she continued building her successful real estate career. After earning her broker's license, she proudly opened Lake Country Real Estate in 1985. In addition to real estate, she also worked alongside her brother Edward selling manufactured homes.

On April 6, 2002, Carolyn married the love of her life, Mark Lilly, in Las Vegas, surrounded by family. Together they built their home in Buncombe Creek in 2003, where they created a life filled with love, laughter, and treasured memories. Carolyn was a faithful member of Texoma Southern Baptist Church in Buncombe Creek.

Carolyn and Mark shared a love of travel, enjoying cruises and camping adventures in their motorhome, but her greatest joy was always her family. She treasured every gathering, every conversation, and every moment spent with those she loved most. Her family was the center of her world, and the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in their hearts. She will be profoundly missed and forever loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Mark Lewis Lilly of Kingston, Oklahoma; her son, Scott Gallagher and wife Jodi; her daughter, Julie Ann Payne; her brothers-in-law, Roy D. Lilly and wife Diane, and Dayton Lilly; her mother-in-law, Anna Vandeveire; her granddaughters, Lacey B. Yates and husband Daniel, Rikki J. Payne, Kory M. Sellers and husband Jordon, Claire E. Gallagher, Kayla A. Gallagher, and Katherine G. Genzer and husband Brendlee; as well as eight great-grandchildren.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, John Kenneth Hammett and James Edward Hammett; and her brothers-in-law, Hugh Lilly and Bruce Lilly.

Casket bearers will be Dayton Lilly, Gary Hammett, David Hammett, James Hammett, Earnest Gilreath, and Tony Midgley.
