Joseph Eugene England 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, May 28, 2026, at the Brookside Nursing Center in Madill, Oklahoma. He was born on May 11, 1959, in Waurika, Oklahoma to the late Melvin Orval England and Vera Alice Hughes England.

Joseph was raised in Waurika where he attended school. He later worked alongside his brother in the family business, Jim England’s Plumbing, where he was known as a hard worker and someone always willing to lend a helping hand. For the last 14 years, Brookside Nursing Center became home, where he formed many friendships and shared countless memories.

Joseph found joy in the simple things in life. He loved fishing, enjoying a good meal, and most of all spending time with the people he loved. His warm smile, kind heart, and love for family will be remembered by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son, Joseph Donald England of Florida; three grandchildren, Adrian, Coby and Jenna; brothers Tom England and wife Janie of Waurika, Oklahoma, Jim England of Haslet, Texas, and Harry England and wife Gloria of Waurika, Oklahoma; sisters Laurie Lee of Waurika, Oklahoma, and Elaine Good of Gordonville, Texas; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Shelly England, brothers; Charles, Gerald, Don, Ray and Wayne England and sisters; Faye, Eloy and Jane.

Though he will be deeply missed, his family takes comfort in the love and memories he leaves behind.
