Jose Maria Ozuna, Jr., 69-year-old former Marietta, OK resident, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the Brookside Manor in Madill, OK. There are no local services scheduled. Jose's ashes will be laid to rest next to his family in the Haskell Cemetery in Haskell, TX at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Marietta, OK.

Jose began this life on November 3, 1956, in Haskell the son of Jose and Nelly (Rodriguez) Ozuna. At an early age, the family moved to Abilene, TX where Jose spent much of his childhood before later coming to Marietta. Jose proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps where he achieved the rank of Sergeant. After his honorable discharge from the service in 1977, he returned to Marietta where he would work in machine maintenance for the cookie factory for several years.

Jose was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. He also liked to make an occasional trip to the casino to test his luck. Jose was also a self-proclaimed ladies' man who loved a little bit of playful flirting. He was a fun-loving guy that had many ways of just enjoying life. But, above all else, Jose got the most enjoyment out of giving his brothers Rudy and Sal a hard time.

Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Nelly and Jose, Sr.; grandparents, Aurelia and Silvestre Ozuna; and a sister, Diana Ozuna.

Those left to cherish Jose's memory are his daughter, Jolee Ozuna of Abilene; grandchildren, Salea Miranda, Jordan Ozuna, Antonio Guardiola, Jr., and Jesse James Guardiola; brothers, Rudy Ozuna and wife Misty of Marietta, Salvador Ozuna of Marietta, Eddie Ozuna and wife Minerva of Krum, TX, and Noel Ozuna of Krum; sisters, Mary Jo Camacho of Houston, TX and Elizabeth Ozuna of Denton, TX; niece, Salina Ozuna of Marietta; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
