John Wayne Williams, 80, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023, at the

Brookside Nursing Center in Madill. He was born on July 12, 1942, in Lone Elm, Oklahoma to the late Wayne

R. Williams and Mary Edith Tyner Williams. John was raised in McMillan where he attended school to the 4 ^th

grade. He graduated from Madill High School in 1960 before being drafted into the United States Army. John

married Joraine Elvonne Mabrey on June 30, 1967, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 1972 he went to work for Samedan

Oil Corporation and retired in 1997. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, working with wood and loved his family.

John is survived by:

Grandchildren: Ethan Farmer

Rachel Griffin and husband Dylan

Leslie Wieck and husband Davis

John was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bryan Williams.
