Joe Frank Potts 69, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 at the Blue River Nursing Home in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.  He was born on August 11, 1950 in Durant, Oklahoma to the late Frank Wilmoth Potts and LaTrelle Lollis Potts and raised by Frank and Murielene Potts.  Joe was raised in Michigan and Illinois.  He received a teaching degree and taught history for several years in Virginia and North Carolina.  In 1998 Joe moved to Lebanon and worked for Walmart.  He has lived the past year and a half in Tishomingo.  Joe enjoyed reading history and watching western movies.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Mother who raised him Murielene Potts and 1 sister: Glendo Kay Potts.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 8th from 10:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Keel Cemetery, Madill, Oklahoma.  Service will be officiated by Kelvin McMillan.  Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
