Joan Doreen Huff was born July 23, 1940 in Porterville, CA the daughter of Clayton and Marie Throop Hornsby. She passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta, at the age of 77.

A graduate of Porterville High School, Joan then attended trade school. She and Raymond A. Huff were married in Las Vegas, NV on June 26, 1983, and the couple had made their home in Love County for the past 17 years. Mrs. Huff had been employed as a bookkeeper for Western Electric and Pacific Bell. She enjoyed knitting, hunting, camping, shopping, and working around the house and in the garden. Joan had previously attended the Enville Community Church and was currently attending the Little City Baptist Church in Little City, OK.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and a brother.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond of the home; two sons, Damon Denney of Talent, OR and Ray Huff, Jr. of Bakersfield, CA; two daughters, Denise Rios of the home and Carrie Nelson of Falconhead; brother, Daryl Hornsby of Lincoln, CA; seven grandchildren, Justin Denney, Aaron Denney, Trevor Rios, Layton Cargill, Grady Dowd, Kayla Huff, and Allie Huff; and four great-grandchildren.
