Mildred "JoNell" Stribling went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2014 in Houston, TX after a short illness. The services for JoNell will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 8, 2014, in The First Baptist Church, Marietta, OK with Rev. Tommy Higle officiating. Interment is under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta. Mrs. Stribling will be laid to rest in Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta. JoNell was born to Elizabeth and Beady Presley, Sr. on January 4, 1930 in Loves Valley, OK, the fifth of eight children. She lived a life of caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse and Certified Operating Room Technician at Ardmore Adventist Hospital and Mercy Hospital for 47 years. She retired and then joined the Auxiliary for Mercy Hospital where she volunteered in the OR waiting area helping families and patients for many years. She loved traveling with her sisters on senior trips with The First Baptist Church. JoNell loved animals and had many over the years. She also loved her grandchildren and spent the last four years living with her daughter and son-in-law in Manvel, TX enjoying all that life had to offer. Mrs. Stribling was preceded in death by her son, Don Dayton; parents; three brothers, Harold Presley, Murray Presley and Beady Presley, Jr.; and two sisters, Judy Smith and Shirley Foster. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Rise Jo Stribling and Troy Dalton Bone; two sisters and brother-in-law, Ada Bess and Bud Hill and Dorotha Sifford of Marietta; her grandchildren, Zachary Dalton Bone, Jarrod Ethan Bone, and Presley Elizabeth Bone of Manvel, Kara Carter of Ardmore and Shawn Dayton of Oklahoma City, OK; her great-grandchild, Zane Dayton of Ardmore; and many nieces and nephews. Casket bearers will be Dalton Bone, Herb Hays, Randy Johnson, Austin McGill, Corey Johnson, and Paul Hill. Honorary bearers will be Jason Sampley and Howie Sifford.
