Jimmy Lee Wilson, 75, of Marietta, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022, at the Lake Country Nursing Center in Marietta. Jimmy's funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 7, 2022, at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel with Lawrence Anderson officiating. Interment to follow at the Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta. A time of viewing will be from 12:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M., Thursday at the funeral home.

Jimmy was born November 23, 1946, in Marietta, Oklahoma to James Henry and Billie Jean (Gaither) Wilson. He was raised in Greenville, OK and enjoyed the time he spent at the Sunshine Industries in Ardmore. Jimmy spent the last 20+ years in Marietta. He truly enjoyed living in the Lake Country Nursing Center. Jimmy loved all the staff members of the nursing center. His favorite pastime was working in the yard, and he was a self-taught carpenter performing tasks that often left everyone in awe. Jimmy was often wearing gear for his favorite team, the Oklahoma Sooners.

Family members left to cherish Jimmy's memory are his brothers, Tom Wilson, and Nelson Barber and wife Cindy, all of Marietta; sister, Shelia Greenwood and husband Ray of Marietta; a sister-in-law, Suzann Wilson of Olathe, KS; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Preceding Jimmy in death are his parents, and four brothers, Jerry Wilson, Don Wilson, Van Barber, and Ricky Barber.

Casket bearers will be Javier Garcia, James Greenwood, Lin Greenwood, Nicholas Barber, Jake Barber, and Jared Barber. Honorary casket bearers will be Joe Guerrero, Bert Tickel, Joe Lamb, Eric Wilson, and Dewayne Buckanon.
