Obituary

Jerry Max Davis, 86, of Kingston, Oklahoma, passed away on February 19, 2025, at the Family Care Center in Kingston.  He was born on May 29, 1938, in Seminole, Oklahoma to the late Cilless E. Davis and Opal Lavere Hoppers Davis.  Max was raised in Centerville, Iowa and moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma graduating from Putman City, High School.  He moved to Madill, Oklahoma where he married Joyce Coffey on July 2, 1971.  They owned and operated the Return Motel in Madill.  Max moved back to Oklahoma City and in 2006 they moved to Kingston where he lived for the rest of his life.  He enjoyed old cars, boating and taking the kids water skiing.  Max also enjoyed collecting coins and going to coin shows.

He is survived by:

Children:                     Lisa Combs and husband Jay, Madill, Oklahoma

Jerri Vestal and husband Brad, Lavonia, Missouri

Steven Davis and wife Jennifer, Little City, Oklahoma

8 Grandchildren                      13 Great Grandchildren

Max was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother; Maurice Martin.
