Jerry Lynn Chitwood, born July 10th, 1937 in Mansfield, Arkansas and Betty Louise Vaughn born July 28th 1938 in Mead, Oklahoma, married march 15th 1980 in Moore, Oklahoma. They blended their families together. They had four children Jeff Chitwood, Sylvia Swanson, Connie McLemore and Traci Wilkins.

They resided in Moore, Oklahoma they both worked diligently towards retirement. They retired in 1994. Which at that time they moved to Lake Texoma. Jerry enjoyed fishing and gardening. If you couldn't find him, he might be driving around by the lake or parked by the lake taking a nap. Betty enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting and needle point. She was always busy making something for her friends.

They attended the Lighthouse Methodist Church and they enjoyed all the fellowship!  They made great friends, which they loved so dearly. Betty was always crafting for the Sunday school kids. Jerry was playing dominoes or cards cussing and discussing with his buddies. So many fond memories of things they used to do.

Betty passed March 1st, 2024 and Jerry passed March 15th, 2024.

Their life on earth has ended but their eternal life has just begun. They will be missed dearly. Special thank you to Pete Holland (great friend and neighbor), hospice nurse Ashley Williams, and all the nurses at Kingston Nursing Home.
