Obituary

Jere Sheldon Zimmerman, 83, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at his home in Kingston.  He was born on November 19, 1938, in Chicago, IL to the late Richard Zimmerman and Eleanor Mieras.  Jere was raised in Arlington, TX where he graduated high school. He joined the Air Force and operated out of Perrin Air Force Base for 8 years, receiving an honorable discharge. He was hired by GM as a videographer and photographer. Jere went to work for the Dallas Cowboys as a camera man for 8 years. He married Paula Mann in 1983 and was hired by NFL Films as a camera man. During his 30 years with NFL Films he won an Emmy for his cinematography in films. He later served as a fire fighter and chief for 25 years with the Texoma Fire Department, and he loved every minute! In his free time Jere was a regular deer hunter, used to race boats, and loved being on the water. He was a hard worker, and never encountered a project he couldn't do. His family was the highest priority to him, and he will be dearly missed.

Grandchildren:            Kenny, Shelby Z., Chris, Christian, Shelby H., April, Channing, Blake, Taylor, Brooklynn, and Cody.

Brother:                                   Paul Duszynski Jr., Arlington, TX

Jere was preceded in death by his parents, a stepfather; Paul Duszynski Sr., a grandson; Jeff, and a granddaughter; KaySee.
