Jeffrey Glenn Reece began this life November 6, 1962, in Kermit, TX, the son of Sylvesta and Geraldine (Dickson) Reece. He attended Greenville schools and later graduated from Marietta high school where he was also a member of the football team. Soon after high school, Jeffrey went to work in the oil fields. He worked there for several years before going to work for the Cookie Factory in Marietta. After the Cookie Factory, Jeffrey returned to the oil fields briefly before going to work in Security at Winstar. On July 11, 1988, he married Elsa Ramon in Gainesville, TX. They spent more than 35 years together.

Jeffrey was a hardworking man that also liked having some light-hearted fun aggravating his family and friends. He loved playing dominoes and attending swap meets and auctions with his uncle Robert. Jeffrey also loved spending time in the great outdoors fishing, hunting, trapping, and gigging an occasional frog or two.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Sylvesta Roy Reece; granddaughter, Alex Hayden Reece; grandparents, Pauline Goff, Valford Reece, and Audra and Jepthy Dickson; and sister-in-law, Josephine Powell.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Elsa of the home; mother, Geraldine Ann Reece of Overbrook, OK; sons, Geoffrey Shane Reece of Marietta; Steven Glenn Reece and wife Cassandra of Ardmore, OK; brother, Sylvesta Reece, Jr. of Overbrook; sisters, Corliss Johnson of Overbrook, Audra Tate and husband Billy of Denison, TX, and Peggy Grooms and husband Paul of Marietta; and two grandchildren, Jenny and Chase Reece.

Casket bearers will be Dustin Hicks, Josh Hicks, Jerry Hicks, Tony Rodriguez, Paul Grooms, and Sylvesta Reece, Jr.. Honorary bearers are Chase Reece and Jenny Reece.
