Jayden Coe
Mccain
November 19, 2006 – September 16, 2025
Jayden Coe McCain, age 18, of Madill, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in Madill.
He was born on November 19, 2006, in Durant, Oklahoma, to James Donald McCain and Tiffany Ann Edgar Callen. Jayden was raised in Madill and graduated from Madill High School in 2025. He was currently attending Murray State College, where he was a proud member of their inaugural wrestling team.
Athletics were a central part of Jayden's life. Over the years, he participated in football, cross country, and track, and was a state qualifier in powerlifting. He eventually found his greatest passion in wrestling and weightlifting. His disciplined and determined spirit guided him both on and off the mat, and his dedication to fitness and living a healthy lifestyle made him a natural mentor at the gym, where he inspired and encouraged others to push toward their goals.
Beyond sports, Jayden had a servant's heart. He was an ambassador for HOPE for Marshall County Food Pantry, was active in First Baptist Church Madill's youth and young adult ministries and showed deep compassion for people with disabilities and special needs children. His faith was the foundation of his life, and he openly shared his love for God and Jesus Christ with everyone he met. One of his favorite verses, which he kept close on his bracelet, was Ephesians 6:10, "Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power."
Jayden's positive outlook, hard work, and contagious smile left a lasting impact on his family, friends, teammates, and community. He was an overcomer who continually strove to be better each day, and in doing so, spread encouragement and joy to those around him.
He is survived by:
Father: James Donald McCain
Mother: Tiffany Ann Edgar Callen
Siblings: James Callen, Noah Callen, Alyssa McClure, and Masen McCain
Great Grandmother: Gail Clifton
Grandmothers: Connie Clifton and Denise Manson
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ed McCain and Brian Manson.
