Janie Lou Caldwell of Marietta, OK, was born on January 14, 1947, in Ardmore, OK to Vernon Lovell and Alyne (Thompson) Griffin. She passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026, in Ardmore.

She had worked as a waitress at Sunshine and Roundhouse Restaurants and also as a bank teller at BancFirst in Marietta. She loved collecting antiques and spending time with Jim.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three sons, Richey Robbins, Bucky Caldwell, and Blaine Caldwell, and a brother, Tommy Griffin.

Janie is survived by her significant other, Jim Diggs, of the home, brother Roger Griffin and wife Becki of Ardmore, Oklahoma, a grandson, a granddaughter, and lots of extended family and friends.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation services are under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Marietta, Oklahoma.
