Janet Gail Lindberg, of Marietta, OK, was born on April 20, 1948, in Salt Lake City, UT to Arden Miller and Emma (Van Roosendaal) Carbine. She passed from this life on Monday, October 14, 2024, in Denton, TX at the age of 76 years.

Janet married Robert Allen Lindberg, Jr., on July 22, 1966, in Bellflower, CA. They had lived in California for most of their marriage, and then moved to Larkspur, CO. They resided in Larkspur until they decided to move to Marietta in 2013.

Janet enjoyed crocheting, painting, knitting, sewing, shopping and had a diverse collection of gnomes. She would do anything to celebrate all the holidays and loved spending time with her family more than anything.

Preceding Janet in death are her parents, and a brother, Roy Garner.

Left to cherish Janet's memory are her husband, Robert Allen Lindberg, Jr. of the home; son, Robert Allen Lindberg, III and wife Heather of Grand Junction, CO; daughter, Tammy Lee Tanaka and husband Brian of Marietta; granddaughters, Allyson Nicole McManners, Meghan Ashley McManners, Hollie Michelle Midori Tanaka, Mikayla Lynn Hikari Tanaka, Emily Grace Akemi Tanaka and Heaven Danielle Lindberg; brother, Larry Carbine and wife Dianne of Walnut Creek, CA; and sister, Becky Clark-Wolf and husband Mark of Riverside, CA.
