James Lloyd Hand, better known as "Pete" to all who knew him, went to be with his lord and savior on October 24, 2024. Pete was born to Edward and Donnie Hand on May 29, 1945, in Yuba City California.  He lived in Lubbock, Texas for a while before moving to Mead, Oklahoma where he attended school and later met his high school sweetheart Wilma Spivey. The two were married in September of 1963, and their wedding vows were renewed again in September of 2004, where 4 generations of family were in attendance to celebrate a life full of laughter and love.

Pete worked at W.W. trailers for 20 years and then in 1996 he found his passion in the trucking Industry and went to work for 24 years at Roll-Off trucking company till he retired in 2020. After retirement he spent his days enjoying taking care of his lawn, fishing and just enjoying being with his family.

Daughter:                     Donna Neal and husband Wade, Scotland, South Dakota

Granddaughter:           Erin (in the home)

8 other grandchildren: Amanda, Crystal, Becca, Michael, Aubrey, Kristi, Kayla and Arthur.

Great granddaughter: Ava Dawn (in the home)

9 great grandchildren: Jamie and wife Brylea, Destiny, Ivonna, Tyler, Justin, Austin, Brandon, Abbi and Jackson

6 great great grandchildren-- Kaiah, Myles, Kamberly, A.J., Kadin and Tommy Jack

Pete is preceded in death by his parents, brother Bob and sister Nell, grandson James Aaron Hand, brother in law Allen Spivey, and nephew Daryl Spivey
