Born July 4, 1973 in Casa Grande, AZ, James was the son of Jeral C. Berry and Rose Ann Williams Berry. He passed away Tuesday, July 17, in Mercy Hospital Ardmore at the age of 45.

A resident of Love County for the past 16 years, James was employed as a ranch hand. He loved to work whether it was driving heavy equipment, working on equipment or doing woodworking. He also enjoyed gambling at casinos; however, his favorite pastime was visiting and playing games with family.

James was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesse and Veda Williams and Edgar and Martha Berry; and an uncle, Larry Berry.

Survivors include his mother, Rose Ann Spradling of Thackerville; father, Jeral Berry, also of Thackerville; two sons, Randy Berry of Casa Grande and Troy Berry of Marietta; daughter, Hannah Berry of Marietta; three brothers, Jeral Berry of the Bomar community, Jerry Berry of Casa Grande, and Jesse Berry of Thackerville; sister, Jo Ann Spradling of Thackerville; and several aunts and uncles.

Honorary bearers were Jesse Berry, Jeral Berry, Kevin Love, Levi Berry, Jim Lemons, Randy Berry, J.D. Berry, and Doug Rudy.
