Geraldine Reasoner, 97, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the Family Care Center in Kingston, Oklahoma. She was born on February 13, 1928, to the late L.C. Carter and Marie Hupp Carter in Marlow, Oklahoma. Geraldine grew up in Plainview, Texas, where she graduated from high school and went on to attend Braun Business College for two years. She married Robby Reasoner on November 13, 1945 in Floydada, Texas, and together they shared many years of marriage until his passing in 1993. Over the years, Geraldine lived in Slaton, Texas, Plainview, Texas; and Sherman, Texas, where she made her home until moving to Madill in 2016.  Geraldine was affiliated with Westside Baptist Church in Sherman. She found joy in life's simple pleasures—watching NASCAR races, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and the Texas Rangers, and staying current with Fox News.

She is survived by her daughter, LaRue Wilhite of Madill, Oklahoma; her grandson, Frank Wayne Wilhite and his wife, Brittney of Katy, Texas, Great Granddaughter; Riley Wilhite, of Madill, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband, 2 sons; Wayne and Jerry, 1 grandson; Lee Wilhite, son in-law; Frank, 3 brothers and 1sister.

Geraldine will be remembered for her independent spirit, strong faith, and the love she had for her family.
