Gary Dewayne Pugh passed away January 16, 2026, in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He was born January 26, 1944, in Perryton, Texas to Clyde and Nina Pugh. He lived and worked in Perryton, working various jobs in the oilfield. He married Mary Bellmon on September 24, 2004. When he retired, they moved to Kingston, Oklahoma to be near the lake where he enjoyed his boat, fishing and golfing. Gary loved OU sports of all kinds. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Terry Max and daughter Teri Vestal. He is survived by wife Mary, daughter Tami Pugh and bonus daughter Jill Remy, grandsons Trey and Tripp Vestal, and their dad Cole Vestal, brothers Craig and wife Sue and Rocky Pugh and wife Susie.
