Freida Underhill Chastain, 77 of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, September 24, 2009 at her home in Madill. Freida was born on May 31, 1932 in Madill, Oklahoma to Lomas Johna Underhill and Christine Cooper Underhill. She lived in Marshall County most of her life and attended the Grantham, Archard and Madill High School. She married C. M. "Pete" Chastain on August 29, 1948 in Denison, Texas. She owned and operated the Cut Above Beauty Salon in Madill for over 20 years and she was a member of the Oakview Baptist Church in Oakland. Freida enjoyed time with her grandchildren, camping, fishing, listening to Blue Grass Music and going on Cruise Ships. Freida was preceded in death by her parents; Lomas Johna Underhill and Christine Cooper Underhill, grandparents; Robert and Mae Cooper. She is survived by: Husband: Pete Chastain, Madill, Oklahoma Children: Barry Lee Chastain, Seattle Washington Robert Myles Chastain, Colfox, California Dennis Alan Chastain, Ravia, Oklahoma 5 Grandchildren 4 Great Grandchildren 2 Brothers: Robert Underhill, Dewey, Oklahoma Lomas Johna Underhill Jr, Hemphill, Texas Sister: Rowina Lebron, Cumberland, Oklahoma Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
