Obituary

Evelyn Etta Hilton, 81 of Oakland, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, November 18, 2007 at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. She was born in Imperial Valley, California to the late William Woods and Stella Duncan Woods on September 28, 1926. Evelyn was living in Santa Rosa, California before moving to the Western Heritage in Kingston, Oklahoma in the 1980's. While she was living in California she was the state of California Milk Maid Queen 3 years running. Evelyn lived in Mississippi for a couple of years before moving back to the Kingston and Madill area in 2003 where she lived the rest of her life. She married Ralph Gene Hilton on August 5, 1953 in Reno, Nevada. He preceded her in death on January 7, 1996. Evelyn was affiliated with the Church of Christ and she loved cooking and playing cards. She is survived by: Daughter: Rita Kilpatrick, Kingston, Oklahoma Sisters: Freeda Graves, Madill, Oklahoma Charlene Chidester, Madill, Oklahoma Sister in-laws: Rose Woods, Kingston, Oklahoma Beulah Woods, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Granddaughter: Casey Reynolds, Springfield, Missouri Step Granddaughter: Tiffany Steinke, Edmond, Oklahoma Grandsons: Darin Swift, Kingston, Oklahoma Brandon Swift, Kingston, Oklahoma Allen Kilpatrick, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Steven Kilpatrick, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 10 Great Grandchildren 1 Great Great Grandchild Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son; Phillip Kilpatrick, 1 grandson; Brian Kilpatrick, 3 brothers; Eulys, Byron and Otha Ray Woods, 1 sister: Grace Woods.
