Esther Cardelia Orr, 81, of Little City, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Southbrook Healthcare Center in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She was born on May 25, 1944, in Lakeport, California, to the late Robert Lewis Smith and Esther Lucille Clark Smith. Esther was raised in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, where she attended school. She married Jess Porter in 1977, who preceded her in death in 1983. She later married Johnny Kenneth Orr on September 13, 1983, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on August 8, 2020.
Esther worked in local sewing factories and also as a cook in several area restaurants. In 1978, she moved to the Madill area, where she lived for the remainder of her life. She was affiliated with the Baptist Church.
Esther enjoyed quilting, cooking, canning, and gardening. She loved vacationing with Johnny, especially spending time in Colorado. Above all, Esther cherished her family and loved spending time with them.
She is survived by:

Glenna Wyatt, Dylan Bolton, Kasi Windham, Brandi Eller, and Baeli Stafford
Great-grandchildren: Jonathan Welch, Jason Welch, Kenzi Reed, Aubrey Prewett, Emily Prewett,
Connor Bardin, Trinity Cumberledge, Jax Wyatt, Cooper Wyatt, Grayson Bolton,
Avery Bolton, Dawna Grace Eller, Michael Gene Eller, and Joey Windham
Great-great-grandchild: Winston Welch
She was preceded in death by her daughter; Carla Smithee and two brothers, Kenneth Smith and Carl Smith.
