Edith Faye Hornlein, 73, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Alliance Hospital in Durant, Oklahoma. She was born on July 25, 1952, in Olton, Texas, to the late William Howard Bynum and Helen LaVerne Wylie Bynum.  Edith was raised in Florida before moving to Madill, Oklahoma, where she lived most of her life. She moved to Laughlin, Nevada where she married Gary Bruce Hornlein on July 16, 1991. She devoted her life to caring for her home and her family. In 1993 Edith moved to Kingston where she lived the rest of her life. Edith enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her loved ones, and making trips to the casino.

Edith is preceded in death by her parents; her son, William Horace "Billy" Messer; and her brother, Jimmy Wayne Bynum.
