Ebbin Robert Smith, Jr. Also known as Pepaw, Uncle P and P., 55, of Mannsville, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, June 11, 2026. He was born on September 7, 1970, in Ada, Oklahoma, to the late Ebbin Robert Smith, Sr. and Eunice Faye Grant Smith. He was raised in Mill Creek, Oklahoma, where he graduated from Mill Creek High School with the Class of 1988. He later spent time living in Troy before making his home in Mannsville for the past eight years. Ebbin was a hardworking man who spent the last several years working as a lab technician for Cummins Construction. He believed in an honest day’s work and enjoyed the simple things in life. Whether he was at a rodeo, on the golf course, standing by a grill cooking for family and friends, or simply cutting up and being goofy, Ebbin had a way of making people laugh and feel at ease. He never met a stranger for long and enjoyed spending time with those he loved.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: LaTisha Knickerbocker and husband Shawn of Sulphur, Oklahoma, TaLisa Smith and her fiancé Jaylyn Holloway of Ada, Oklahoma, and Robin Smith and fiancé Chad Eaves of Stratford, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Rylan and Braylin; his brother, Steven Smith and wife Mandy of Mannsville, Oklahoma; his sister, Trudy Bishop of Ector, Texas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ebbin Robert Smith, Sr. and Eunice Faye Grant Smith, and his brother, Raymond Smith.
Ebbin will be remembered for his quick smile, his playful spirit, his love of family, and his down-to-earth country way of life. The stories, laughter, and memories he leaves behind will continue to be shared by those who knew and loved him for years to come.
