Duane Glenn Knowles, 70, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away on January 23, 2023, at his residence in Kingston.  He was born on September 9, 1952, in Ritzville, Washington to the late James Edward Knowles and Kathleen Edith Young Knowles.  He grew up in Ritzville, and Spokane, Washington area and graduated in 1972 at Sunnyside High School in Sunnyside, Washington.  Duane lived in Moses Lake where he married Susan Rae McDowall on July 9, 1994.  In 1996 he moved to Kingston where he lived the rest of his life.  Duane served in the Washington National Guard for 24 years.  He was affiliated with the Gordonville Baptist Church, and he enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, raising horses and cattle.
