Dovie Gladys Treadwell of Marietta, OK, was born November 16, 1906, in Montague, TX, the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Mary Ann Whisenhunt Harper. She passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2007, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta, at the age of 101. Mrs. Treadwell had been a resident of Love County most of her life. A homemaker, she had also been employed as a cook . . . working at the Hub Restaurant in Marietta for more than 20 years. Mrs. Treadwell loved to cook which was her way of expressing love to family and friends. She truly loved the Lord and her family and was always willing to help others. Mrs. Treadwell attended the Christ Tabernacle Church. Preceding her in death were her parents; two infant sons; grandson, Charles E. Treadwell; six sisters and two brothers.
