Dorietta Faith Shipley, 75 of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 at the Beacon Hill Nursing Center in Denison, Texas. She was born on March 28, 1939 in Lawton, Oklahoma to the late Robert Chisholm and Dora Delaware Chisholm. Dorietta was raised in Oklahoma City and later lived in Corpus Christy, California, Pennsylvania and moved back to the Oklahoma City area in 1961. She married Kenneth Shipley on March 28, 1957 in Oklahoma City. In 1989 she moved to Kingston where she lived the rest of her life. Dorietta worked at SS Upholstery in partners with her husband and she attended the Texoma Baptist Church. She enjoyed taking care of her family, going to the casino, playing bingo, going to flea markets and garage sales. She also enjoyed fishing and bowling. She is survived by: Husband: Boyd Kenneth Shipley, Kingston, Oklahoma Son: Robert Gene Shipley, Kingston, Oklahoma Grandchildren: Brian Shipley, Hugo Stephanie Shipley, Arizona Christopher Shipley, Arizona Johnathan Shipley, Arizona Michael Dale Shipley, 4 Great Grandchildren Dorietta was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son; BK Shipley Jr.
