It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dora Sellers on November 21, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband A.W. Sellers, her brother Jessie Canales and her brother Marcus Canales. She is survived by her by her brother Benito Canalas, her sisters Maria Canalas and Felicia Willingham, her daughters Regina Bedell, her son-in-law Brian Bedell, her daughter Claire Sellers, grandchildren Brenden Sellers, Ariella Bedell, Joey Bazel, Andrew Bazel, Molly Bazel, Gray Bazel, Kelly Bazel and Emmie Moss. She is also survived by several nephews and cousins.

Dora was born on April 18, 1951, in Waukegan, Illinois. Her family eventually moved to Oklahoma where she later met her husband A.W. "Willy" Sellers. They had two daughters and later moved their family to Colorado. After Willy passed, Dora became a Para-educator for special needs children.

Dora was active in various church families. She was often a choir member and Sunday school teacher. She was also a talented seamstress, baker and free hand artist. She was also a big-hearted woman who took in any stray cat that crossed her path.

In more recent years Dora relocated back to Oklahoma to be near her brothers and sisters which lived in the area. She passed with her loving sisters watching over her.

Funeral Services for her will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 11 A.M. at Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home in Marietta, Oklahoma with Pastor Les Bussell officiating. Later that afternoon an additional small graveside service will be held in the Velma Cemetery.

Prior to her passing, Dora requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in her memory.
