She served as a Chickasaw Legislator for 11 years, where she felt blessed to serve the people of the Chickasaw Nation. She continued to work for the Nation in another capacity as an interviewer, gathering the amazing stories of elders in the community. She also loved collecting pictures of her family, with whom she worked hard to share her genealogy knowledge and the importance of gathering as a family. She loved deeply and was loved by her family and friends.
Donna loved nature and never met a critter she didn't like, but her favorite animals of all were horses. When she was younger, she enjoyed dancing, was an avid reader and liked riding horses.
