Donald Lee "Don" Birks, 89, of Enville, OK, was born on November 6, 1936, in Purcell, OK to the late Lester James and Iva Lee (Ruff) Birks. He passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026, in Ardmore, OK.

Don married the former Donna Lucille Mitchell on May 17, 1963, in Shawnee, OK. He loved listening to bluegrass and playing guitar, and before her death on June 17, 2009, he and Donna would frequently load up their camper and head to bluegrass festivals with friends. He also enjoyed shooting his guns and harvesting pecans, but more than anything, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great -grandchildren.

Preceding Don in death are his parents; wife; granddaughter, Chrissy Marris; brothers, Bob and James Birks; and sisters, Betty Jo Birks, Doris Reagan, and Wanda Berry.

Left to cherish Don's memory are his children, Terry Birks and wife Wendy of Enville, Kevin Birks of Enville, and adopted son, Wyndell Goodin and wife Ginger of Dickson, OK; grandchildren, Weston Birks and wife Holly, Nolan Birks and Makayla Ballard, Lareme Hartman, Alesha Birks, Tori Stefans and husband Joshua, Caleb Goodin, and Wynde Goodin; great-grandchildren, Kenze Hartman, Walker Tate Birks, and Peyton Marris; grandson-in-law, Stacy Marris; daughter-in-law, Dottie Gwin; brothers-in-law, Mickey Berry and Otis Reagan; special friend, Shirley Madison; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members; and special caregiver, Alondra Barrientos.

Don's funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 4, at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Keizor officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta. Family visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Marietta, OK.

Casket bearers will be Terry Birks, Kevin Birks, Weston Birks, Nolan Birks, Frank Pershica, and Wyndell Goodin. Honorary bearers are the staff of Good Shepherd Hospice and the Southbrook Nursing Home.
