Denice Ann Lapensee, a 65-year-old Marietta, OK resident, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Mercy Health Love County in Marietta. A memorial service will be held at a later date set by the family. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Marietta.

Denice began this life on July 24, 1958, in Pasco, WA, the daughter of William and Dorothy (Velder) Condon. She had worked in the grocery business for more than 30 years at different grocery retailers. Denice was a hard worker with a great sense of humor. She loved sewing and spending time with her children. She met Michael Boynton in July of 2011. There was a spark there that has kept them together since that day. The two moved to Marietta nearly five years ago from Colorado and have made Love County their home ever since. Though Marietta was home, from time to time, Denice traveled all over the 48 contiguous states with Michael in his truck. She loved seeing the awe-inspiring sites the country has to offer.

Denice was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters. Those left to cherish her memory are her significant other and fiancee of 13 years, Michael of the home; son, Mark Lapensee of Colorado; daughters, Tanya Crisp of Washington, and Amie Rist of Colorado; and sister, Sheila Lahey of Oregon.
