DeLana Kay Tarpley, 61, of Alba, Texas passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024.  She was born on May 10, 1962, in Arlington, California to Aulton Ray Stepp and Judith Lorraine Stepp Sloan. DeLana was raised in Franklin, Pennsylvania before moving to Kingston in 1971.  She worked as a cook at Soldier Creek, and she attended the Kingston Baptist Church where she was baptized. She lived in Dallas, Texas before moving to East Texas where she lived the rest of her life.  DeLana enjoyed playing her guitar and singing. She also enjoyed cross stitching and fishing.  Her greatest love was her kids, grandkids, her companion Mario and her dog "Baby Girl".
