Obituary

Debra Kay Keller was born February 15, 1954, in Gainesville, TX to Earl Wayne and Wanda Lee (Loving) Blankenship. She passed away peacefully Saturday, January 25, 2025, in Rubottom, OK at the age of 70.

Debra spent her entire life in Love County and graduated from Turner High School in 1972. She married Randall "Randy" Keith Keller on June 10, 1972, in Eastman, OK. He preceded her in death on April 23, 2018.

Debra had worked several jobs including the Marietta Cookie Factory, the Marietta hospital as a receptionist, Triple A (which is now Sonic), the Falconhead Country Club office for over thirty years, and the past nine years as a players club representative at the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, OK.

Debra loved gardening, cooking, and spending time with all her animals. She would also go wherever Randy's band was playing and was his #1 fan. This went back to the day they met when she was selling tickets for Frontier Days, and he would not buy a ticket from her unless she went out on a date with him. She was Frontier Days Queen in 1971, partly because of the man who bought a ticket and fell in love with his future wife. More than anything, she loved being around her family and watching them with all their activities. She was a member of the Rubottom Baptist Church.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Aaron Ramon; infant brother, Darrell Wayne Blankenship; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rhul and Mable Keller; brothers-in-law, Rhul Keller and Dick Keller; and a sister-in-law, Quetha Gonzales.

Those left to cherish Debra's memory are her daughters, Lisa Ramon of Rubottom, Karla Smith and husband Ronnie of Rubottom, and Sherry Sanchez and husband Ernesto of Jacksonville, NC; grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Brayden Ramon, Hunter Smith, Jersie Ramon, and Brianne Sanchez; bonus grandchildren, C.J. and Cooper Ramon; great-grandchildren, Crimsyn, Oaklyn, and Blakely Hicks; brother, Rodney Blankenship and wife Barbara of Rubottom; sister, Linda Morgan and husband Jack of Rubottom; brother-in-law, Jim Keller and wife Jean of Sacramento, CA; sister-in-law, Betty Rackley of Eastman, OK; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 29, at the Rubottom Baptist Church with Uncle Charles McConnell and Mr. Mike Buxton officiating. Interment will follow at the Rubottom Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home in Marietta.

Serving as casket bearers will be Tyler Smith, Brayden Ramon, Hunter Smith, Ronnie Smith, Ernesto Sanchez, Rodney Blankenship, Clifford Ramon, and Tommy Blankenship.
