Obituary

Daxton Glenn Haggard of Denison, TX, was born on January 5, 2026, in Denison, to Delano Glenn and Alexis Kelli (Campbell) Haggard. He passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 27, 2026, in Tye, TX, at the tender age of three months.

Though his time on earth was brief, Daxton filled the hearts of those around him with immeasurable love and joy. He was a vibrant little boy who loved looking up at his parents and his big brother. With his big brother having the title of “Little Dawg”, Daxton earned the nickname of “Mini Dawg”. He was a double rainbow baby, meaning he came after his mother faced two miscarriages, so he came early and was a fighter. He enjoyed watching Miss Rachel on television and loved to be outside. When outside at the house in Tye, he would watch all the airplanes flying directly overhead. The loud noises of the B-1 bombers never scared him, and his eyes would light up at their presence.

He was three months and three weeks old. He had just found his laugh and in his presence you couldn’t be sad. He was an exceptionally good baby and brought smiles to all who knew him.

Daxton was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, David Campbell and Ray Goyne; his uncles, Brandon Brown and Sean Dofelmire; and his cousin, Alexander Xavier Campbell.

Those left to cherish his precious memory include his loving parents, Delano and Alexis Haggard of the home; his big brother, Destin Haggard of the home; grandparents, Don and Chanlyn Haggard of Ardmore, OK, Corri and Dave Mahaffey of Kalama, WA, Tracy “Tank” Campbell and Courtney Enderby of Ardmore, and Tracy and Shawn Muse of Ardmore. He is also survived by his great-grandparents, Larry and Rita McCollum of Rainier, OR, Cely Campbell of Ardmore, and Sheron Goyne of Ardmore; and his great-great-grandmother, Mary Campbell of Springfield, MO.

Additional survivors include his aunts and uncles, Drake and Sarah Haggard of Ardmore, Devnee Campbell and Chris Bell of Ardmore, Savahanna Haggard of Ardmore, Tommi Lee Campbell and Ge-off Segler of Ardmore, Zane Campbell of Ardmore, Brandy Morgan of Rainier, OR, Tori and Chris Martin of Westport, OR, Tim and Samantha Mahaffey of Clatskanie, OR, Blake Brown and wife Daisy of Ardmore, and special bonus aunts and uncles, John and Makayla Maples of Merkel, TX, Kenzi Herriott of Baird, TX, and Clayton and Amy Herriott of Merkel.

Daxton is also survived by his special cousins, Hazel Haggard, Raeleigh and Braylynn Martin, and Knox Armitage, all of Ardmore, along with numerous extended family members who loved him dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Generations Church, 2015 West Broadway, #24, Ardmore, with Rev. Dr. Craig S. King Sr. officiating and Tank Campbell assisting.
