Dawn was born May 21, 1959 in Fort Worth, TX to Marion and Margaret (Boaz) Lee. She died Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City at the age of 61.

Dawn attended Castleberry Schools in Fort Worth, TX. After graduating, she received her associate degree and later worked as a logistics coordinator for General Dynamics in Fort Worth for 10 years. On September 2, 1983, Dawn married Timothy Coyle in Fort Worth. The couple later moved to the Love County area where Dawn became instrumental in forming the Love County Fire Association Rehab Department. Over the years, she became known across the country as a horticulture expert. Dawn loved spending time gardening and tending to animals, especially dogs and cats. But perhaps her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren.

Dawn is survived by her husband, Tim Coyle of the home in Shady Dale; by a son, Christopher Coyle and wife Jana of Ardmore, OK; by two brothers, Doug Lee and wife Angie of River Oaks, TX and Billy Lee of Burleson, TX; by one sister, Tammy Hinson and husband Lance of Fort Worth; and by two grandchildren, Lillie Harper and Aurora Odell.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
