David Lee Sconce, 71, of Thackerville, OK passed away on September 9, 2022 at Lake Country Nursing Center in Marietta, OK. He was born June 9, 1951 in Benton, LA, to J.C. and Viola (Clark) Sconce.

David was a lifelong area resident of Thackerville and was a graduate of Thackerville High School with the Class of 1969. He enjoyed fishing and coon hunting and was a Dallas Cowboy fan. David worked maintenance most of his life. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Those left to carry on his memory are his daughters, Holly Terry, Wendy Whittington, and Crystal Sconce; brother, John Sconce and wife Pat; sister, Sue Liddell; grandchildren, Megan Scott and Tyler Scott; and three great-grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sheila Shankles; and brother, Paul Sconce.

Honorary bearers are Tyler Scott, Charlie Whittington, and William Terry.

Services to celebrate David's life will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 12, 2022 at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Whittington officiating. Cremation has been entrusted to Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Marietta.
